Ay, Naku! ~ Ay Naku! tells the story of a day in the life of Botbot – in 65 Filipino words. It is a funny and endearing read-aloud that is perfect for learning our language, country, and culture.
The Mats ~ The Mats is about the colorful hand-woven mats, or banig, that a father brings home to his family. The children and their mother excitedly wait for the mats, which are personalized with their names and designs special to them.

Ang Pambihirang Sombrero ~ Ang Pambihirang Sombrero is about a girl named Mia and her magical hat that can hold many things on top. Its illustrations are both silly and magical with lots of details to think and talk about. You’ll also get to tour Filipino neighborhoods!
Sandosenang Sapatos ~ Sandosenang Sapatos tells of a father's love for his disabled daughter. With this book, you and your child can talk about loving one's self, gratitude and humility, jobs, and the circle of life.

This is awesome, Mariel! I downloaded the unit study for Sandosenang Sapatos so I can discuss it further with my son. We also plan to collect other titles from Hiyas and Adarna, so I will definitely come back here. Thanks a lot!
