Preschool Homeschool: You Can Do It Too!

Parents need to connect with other parents to exchange ideas with, to gather information, to learn, or to just share the universal parenting experience. I know this because I benefit so much from having my older sister as my inspiration, model, and key “resource person.”

Parents Helping Other Parents

This blog has evolved from my original intention of just being an online journal about our preschool homeschool adventures. I have actually rewritten the “About” section of this blog just recently to outline how TLB and I have grown.

I am so happy that the online bookshop that grew out of it and the parenting seminars that my friend Rosanne and I have put up have somehow reached out to other parents who are searching for ways to connect with their children and who want to take an active role in their children’s character and intellectual development.

Learn About Preschool Homeschool From Other Parents

This Saturday, November 10, from 2 to 4 pm, I, together with friends and fellow homeschooling moms Tina Rodriguez, Kim Espartero, and Cathy Salvador, will share about the what, why, and how of homeschooling preschool for our own families. Expect a lot of personal sharing and feel free to ask your questions!

It is a semi-private event to be held at the studio of Kindermusik with Teacher Suzette and Friends at Capitol Hills, Quezon City. It is primarily for the families enrolled with Teacher Suzette but we have a few slots for those who may want to join us. There is a minimal fee of P100 for the venue and some snacks. The slots are very limited and it would be best to send us an email at mariel at thelearningbasket dot com and deposit your payment to reserve your seat.

I’m hoping to meet you this Saturday as we share and learn from each other! For those who are not free this Saturday, we already have a schedule for the same talk at Medela House in December, though the slots will also be very limited.

Make magic!

Oh thank you Chris! Since we know how wonderful it is to have our children learn by our side, I think it's just right to share what we know and what we've experienced with other parents. :)
